This 5-day intensive course, designed for healthcare professionals and taught by experts in the medical, nutrition, and culinary fields, teaches how to create delicious food using ingredients as medicine for our bodies and minds. Building on the latest scientific evidence and nutritional competencies showcased at the Healthy Kitchens, Healthy Lives Summit, this hands-on kitchen experience aims to promote meaningful, customizable food and nutrition guidance for patients and their families. Evidence linking food, lifestyle, and health equity serves as the foundation for the course’s tactical cooking components, including how economic status and culture can affect patients’ dietary choices.
