Welcome, recruits, to The Culinary Institute of America! Over the next five days, your mission is to become well-versed in the fundamentals of cooking. Each day, you will be drilled on knife skills, kitchen terminology, cooking methods, and more. You will be placed in charge of preparing your own meals using the techniques you have discussed, so it is imperative that you follow through and carry out your orders. On the last day of the program, your skills and knowledge will be put to the ultimate test as you must prepare a meal that encompasses and demonstrates all the training you have received.
