Welcome recruits to the Culinary Institute of America’s Baking Boot Camp! During this four-day class, you will learn from the pros in an intensive yet fun-filled environment. Through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises in the bakeshop, you will learn the techniques and theories of basic baking and basic bread baking. Over the course of the week, you will be introduced to the fundamental mixing methods and techniques needed to make cookies, quick breads, and pies, and will have the opportunity each day to practice these new skills in our bakeshops.
